Sudden--A Poetry Journal For me poetry has been a means to express the depth of my most sensitive heart. Meaning follows what the heart knows and discovers through the labor of its crafting the context of personal awareness through language.

I believe the poets work is to express the personal and pray that it is universal. Not for a moment do I believe that as poet I feel any deeper or know anything more than anyone else. I only feel and know my love for language that imagines as poetry.

Over the last twenty-five years I have been a Union Laborer, Correctional Counselor, Art teacher, English teacher, Transportation Specialist, Sales Representative, Carpenter, Mason's Helper, Writer-in-Residence, Tour Guide, Mental Health Worker, Mental Retardation Worker, Performance Poet.

My goal is to find an MFA program, earn a degree, publish great poetry, teach creative writing and live a simple life filled with bright loving people.
